As a business owner, you are required to follow government email regulations designed to protect confidential customer information and ensure that employee email is being used and managed properly. To make following these regulations as easy as possible, Verio offers three email compliance solutions that can be purchased as a compliment to your Microsoft Exchange: MessageMirror, Compliant Archiving and Company Legal Disclaimer. MessageMirror™
MessageMirror™ solution creates a copy of every message - incoming and outgoing - in a separate folder, for easy monitoring. The features of MessageMirror include:
- Information retention - Keeps all details of who actually received the emails, including distribution group as well as cc and bcc information.
- Customizable rules and settings - You control the rules for archiving, sorting, and retaining messages.
- Ample disk space - We provide 2 GB of disk space for your MessageMirror service.

Compliant Email Archiving
If you need an email archiving solution that adheres strictly to Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) and National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) requirements, Verio Hosted Microsoft Exchange makes compliant email archiving easy. It gives you:
- Total assurance - All compliance regulations covered, including SEC, NASD, Sarbanes-Oxley, and NYSE.
- Secure environment - Messages are transmitted, stored off-site, and backed up with the highest levels of security. Access is strictly controlled.
- Detailed management - Compliance officers and IT managers can set detailed parameters, using dedicated compliance management software.
Note: You will need to identify an archiving service provider and set up an account with them (we have listed two optional providers in the Exchange Control Panel). Please note that agreements with the archiving service and payment to the archiving service are separate from any agreements and payments to Verio.

Company Disclaimer - $14.95
As legal and compliance risks grow, Company Disclaimer is an effective way to enforce a company-wide email policy. This feature lets you impose a legal disclaimer policy on all email that your staff sends outside your organization that cannot be edited or removed.
You have the option to add legal and company signatures to all emails sent out of your Exchange account. You can also format the disclaimer, including the font, color, size, and other options.
